Object logs

In brief

Object logs provide an easy to read representation of all the modifications of the objects in the database.You can display for all object when and by whom attributes of an object were modified. This is useful if you want to check when a specific mouse attribute e.g. the genotype was changed.

Creating an object log

If you want to see the object log for a given object, you first select your object or objects of interest in a Mausoleum table. Then you choose "Show object log" in the context menu of this table:

The window with fact sheets and object logs will open and the object log for the selected objects is shown in a new tab.

You will see for each of the objects entries for each session this object was modified in. For each session the user as well as the start and end date is shown. All commands which caused a modification of the object are shown beneath the general data for the session.
